How to Trade Bitcoin Contract Trading on Bityard

Bitcoin, created in 2018 by Satoshi Nakamoto, is the first and top cryptocurrency in history. It set an all-time high of $46000, on January 8, 2022. The Crypto Contract Layout makes it easy for traders to choose crypto contracts and earn profits depending on the market.

Contract Trading on Bityard

Contract trading is a method of trading that aims to profit from market volatility. This method allows users to forecast whether the price of an asset will go up or down, which involves leverage.

Traders do not buy or sell assets, only speculate on the price and predict whether the value will go up or down. Contract trading can generate profits faster than holding the asset (spot) but the risks involved with this type of trading are higher. Bityard has two types of Trading Contracts: Cryptocurrencies and Derivatives

Contract trading is different from spot trading. Trading instruments called contracts allow investors to trade based on the price movement of the cryptocurrency, in the future or at a desired price. This involves leverage and therefore traders do not buy or sell assets, only speculate on price movements. With trading fees set at 0.05%, Bityard has trading fees that are lower than the industry average.

In the scenario below, I predict that the price of Bitcoin will go up. Selecting “Buy” will open a contract, at the current value of $34199.35. For this contract, I used Demo Mode. I set leverage at 40x, using 10,000 USDT for this contract. A 0.05% fee was added to the order, increasing the contract value to 10,400 USDT.

Once confirmed, the Bitcoin contract will appear at the bottom of the dashboard, under the “Position” tab. The contract details will include the name of the cryptocurrency, leverage, selected margin, opening price and opening time. The contract will be closed automatically if the price will rise or fall at the set value, or can be closed by the user at any time. Manually closing a contract is a profitable method when the value is close to the set value and the price stops moving. Closing the contract will result in a smaller profit but will reduce the time wasted and stress due to volatility.

Trading History will show closed contracts. A 40x leveraged Bitcoin contract was created at $34,202 and closed at $33,341. Due to price depreciation, contracts and USDT were lost.
